Update: Police identify man killed in Pike County crash

Kentucky State Police identified the victim of a deadly two-vehicle crash that happened in Pike County Tuesday morning.

Wednesday, troopers said Quentin Bentley, 49, from Honaker, Virginia was killed in the crash.

Police are still investigating, but do not suspect drugs or alcohol were involved at this time.

Troopers said the crash happened on Route 805 in the Dorton area, around 4 a.m.

KSP said one person was killed. Their identity has not been released yet.

Police learned two vehicles collided. The cause has not been determined yet. One person from the second vehicle was taken to Pikeville Medical Center for treatment.

While police were reconstructing the crash scene, a police chase that started in Elkhorn City drove through the crash scene.
