Goose flies into power lines, causes power outage in Prestonsburg

Prestonsburg experienced an unexpected outage when a goose flew into a power line.
Kentucky Power officials are on the scene and working to get the power back on.
The goose hit a power line behind the Family Dollar and died.
Power went out from Court Street down to Dairy Queen.
City police are directing traffic while the stoplights are not working.
Power is back for most of the town, and utility workers expect to get the rest of the power back on by 1:00 p.m.
