1 dead following single-vehicle crash in Pulaski County

Deputies said a preliminary investigation revealed the car was northbound when it crossed the centerline and left the roadway on the southbound side of the highway.

The hot temperatures and dry conditions continue.

Police said he was driving recklessly under the influence and had drugs in the car.

The crash happened on KY 30, east of Booneville, around 1 a.m. Monday morning.
