University Heights holds Shelby Valley to 11 second half points, ends the Wildcats' All-A run

RICHMOND, Ky. (WYMT) - University Heights outscored Shelby Valley 31-11 in the second half on their way to a 59-49 victory. The loss ends Shelby Valley's All-A tournament run.

The Wildcat offense was firing on all cylinders in the first half. Cody Potter had 22 points and six threes. However Potter was held to three free throws in the second half, and the Blazer offense exploded. Ky Ky Tandy, a top 100 recruit in the country for the 2019 class, had 23 points to lead the way for UHA.

The game ends Shelby Valley's stretch of eight games in ten days. They host Magoffin County on January 31st.
