SAN ANTONIO, Texas (WYMT) - After becoming an unrestricted free agent this offseason, Trey Lyles will trade in the Mile High City for The Alamo. Lyles agreed to a two-year deal with the San Antonio Spurs

Lyles was set to become a restricted free agent this summer, but the Nuggets rescinded their qualifying offer. The Spurs picked up Lyles after pulling their offer from Marcus Morris.

Lyles averaged 8.5 points and 3.9 rebounds per game in his first four seasons with Utah and Denver. The big man will join Keldon Johnson in San Antonio.
