The Paintsville Tigers defeated the Harlan Green dragons, winning 67-60.

Harlan led at the half 33-31 but fell towards the end.

Colby Fugate led the Tigers with 23 points and Nick Keeton recorded 20 points.

Jordan Akal put up 35 points in the mountain battle.

The Tigers will play Hazard Friday at 8 P.M.

"If the ball hit the rim, they went and got it. If it was a loose ball, they went and got it. It was more - just those loose balls, I didn't think we did a good enough job getting to them," says Harlan's Head Coach Derrick Akal.

"We lost two starters from last year, but I knew we had a lot coming back. We played a super tough schedule. I told the guys going in if we could just keep our morale high enough to stay in this, we'll be successful when we get back home. They bought in and kept getting better every day in practice and just kept battle," sayd Paintsville's Head Coach Landon Slone.
