CORBIN, Ky (WYMT)- After declaring for the NBA Draft, PJ Washington made a farewell tour throughout the state of Kentucky.
The Sophomore Foward made a stop in Corbin, Kentucky, and Somerset, Kentucky on Sunday.
"It is really important to show back all the support they have shown me. So I just wanted to come out here and put smiles on peoples faces and just have a great time with fans. Just thank you for always supporting us," said Washington.
Washington is getting set for the NBA Draft, which will take place June, 20th.
"I'm just making sure I'm healthy and getting my workouts in. I'm really excited for the draft," said Washington.
Kentucky's leading scorer is projected to go as the 14th pick in the first round according to the CBS Sports latest mock draft. If this holds up, Washington would be the first Kentucky Wildcat selected in the 2019 NBA Draft.
