After spending eight years with the North Laurel Jaguars, head coach Brad Sizemore will lead a new team for the 2019-20 season.

Sizemore was introduced as the new basketball head coach Friday afternoon.

The former North Laurel head coach fills the vacancy after Frankie Smith stepped down from the position last week.

Sizemore says that the move to Bell County was a total family decision, and he is excited to get started with the Bobcats.

"It was a family decision, it just felt right you know," Sizemore said Friday afternoon. "Like I said, I'm really familiar with this area, my wife being from here, and not an easy decision to leave North Laurel by no means, but I'm excited to get started on this new challenge. I've played Bell County enough over the years, and I know what type of kids that they have, and I think there's a lot of potential here to do a lot of things."

As head coach of the Jaguars, Sizemore led the program to a 160-95 overall record.
