North Laurel Lady Jaguars run past Henderson County to advance to Girls' Sweet 16 quarterfinals

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WYMT) - The North Laurel Lady Jaguars dominated their first-round game against Henderson County in the KHSAA Girls' Sweet 16, 66-43.

The Lady Jags were led by Emily Sizemore, she tallied 20 points with eight rebounds.

Raegan Hubbard had a double-double, knocking down 15 points with 10 rebounds. Gracie Jervis had 12 points with seven assists, Hailee Valentine finished with 11 points.

With the win, North Laurel improves to 31-6.

North Laurel advances to play Southwestern in the final quarterfinal game Friday, which is slated to tip off at 8 p.m.

The Lady Warriors and North Laurel met at the beginning of February, Southwestern won that match-up, 63-54.
