Multiple cheerleading teams place at the UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship

ORLANDO, Fla. (WYMT) - Cheerleading teams from all over the country descended on Orlando, Florida from February 8th-10th to compete in the 2019 UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship. A number of teams from Eastern Kentucky placed in their respective divisions, and Pulaski County and Clay County Middle School came away with a national title. Here are the finalists:

Varsity Division I - Small Varsity Results
North Laurel High School - 3rd place

Perry County Central High School - 3rd place
Pikeville High School - 11th place
Somerset High School - 13th place

Corbin High School - 7th place

Pikeville Junior High School - 2nd Place
