HINDMAN, Ky. (WYMT) - No. 4 Hazard and No. 2 South Laurel will square off for the Girls' Mountain Classic championship game. The Lady Cardinals are looking for back-to-back Mountain Classic titles, while the Lady Bulldogs hope to win their first title.
The Lady Bulldogs defeated Clay County in Thursday's semifinals, 56-48. South Laurel grinded out a 60-48 victory over Shelby Valley to get to this point.
The Lady Cardinals came back from 20-plus points down last year to defeat Clay County, 55-44.
