Lynn Bowden Jr. looking to lead UK to fourth-straight bowl game
Time is winding down for the Kentucky Wildcats this season. The football team needs two wins in the final three games to become bowl eligible for the fourth straight year.
Following a 17-13 loss where the Cats lead 13-0 late in the first half, UK is relying on the leadership of Junior Wide Receiver turned Quarterback, Lynn Bowden Jr.
Head Coach Mark Stoops says Bowden hasn't always handled his newfound leadership role so well, but he is proud of the leader Bowden has become in his three years in Lexington.
"He has grown so much. You know its fun to see you know it really is. Every player is different you know the way they handle things is different. They way they were brought up they're different. they're all different. I give it to him. I say you're better than that. You're above that now. You know he has handled things much better and I am proud of in that way and the growth he's made," said Stoops.
The Wildcats will head to Vanderbilt Saturday before returning home to face UT Martin and Louisville.
