Knox Central's historic season comes to an end, Panthers fall short to Walton-Verona

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WYMT) - The Knox Central Panthers fell short in the first round of the Boys' Sweet 16 to Walton-Verona Wednesday afternoon, 76-54.


Jalen Adams led the Panthers in scoring with 19 points, 7-17 FG. Nick Martin followed up with 17 points.

Walton-Verona's Kameron Pardee led all scorers with 24, Xavier signee Dieonte Miles scored 19 points.

The Panthers season comes to an end with a 30-5 overall record.
