Kentucky rolls to ninth straight victory, 76-48 over South Carolina

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WYMT) – The Kentucky Wildcats (19-3, 8-1) continued their winning ways Tuesday night over the South Carolina Gamecocks (11-11, 6-3).

Kentucky held an 11-point lead at the half, but outscored South Carolina 37-20 in the second half to cruise to 76-48 final score.

PJ Washington was once again huge for Kentucky, finishing with 20 points. The total gives Washington his fourth straight 20-point game.
With the win, the Wildcats capture their ninth-straight victory and their 16th straight at home.

John Calipari is now within three wins of tying Joe B. Hall’s Kentucky win total.

The Wildcats now get ready to go back on the road for this Saturday’s game against the Mississippi State Bulldogs. Tipoff for that game is set for 1 p.m. and you’ll be able to watch on WYMT.
