LEXINGTON, Ky (WYMT)- Bowl game predictions are starting to surface after week nine of the College Football Season.
Two ESPN writers announced their bowl game predictions.
One had Kentucky playing at noon on January 1st against Michigan State in the Outback Bowl. The other has the Wildcats and Penn State playing in the Citrus Bowl at 1 p.m.
Sports Illustrated projected UK to play in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl and face Ohio State.
CBS Sports suggests the Wildcats will play Washington State in the Peach Bowl on December 29th.
That site also suggests Georgia will play UCF in the Fiesta Bowl at 1 p.m. on New Years Day.
Kentucky will play Georgia at Kroger Field on November 3rd. The winner will claim the SEC East Title and punch their ticket to play in the SEC Championship on December 1st.
Kentucky is not mathematically eliminated from the College Playoffs. The Playoff Committee is slated to reveal their early rankings Tuesday.
