NEW YORK, Ny. (WYMT) - With about a month left in the regular season, Kentucky finds itself as the highest two-seed in the NCAA Tournament, according to the selection committee.
On CBS's NCAA March Madness Bracket Preview, the committee revealed that Kentucky was the highest two-seed and would be in the Midwest Bracket, where Virginia holds the one-seed currently. Houston and Wisconsin round out the top four seeds in the Midwest Region so far.
Tennessee, who comes to Lexington on February 16, received a one-seed in the South Region. The one-loss Volunteers are currently the number two overall seed in the tournament.
Here are the top four projected seeds for each region:
East: Duke, Michigan, Marquette, Iowa State
South: Tennessee, North Carolina, Purdue, Nevada
Midwest: Virginia, Kentucky, Houston, Wisconsin
West: Gonzaga, Michigan State, Kansas, Louisville
