LEXINGTON, Ky. (WYMT) - Kentucky basketball signee and Pendleton County senior Dontaie Allen has torn his ACL, ending his season.
Allen announced that his season was over on Twitter Wednesday afternoon, he also said that he plans to "Be back and better than ever."

UK Basketball head coach John Calipari also weighed in on the news, saying, "Adversity is a part of the sport, especially basketball. You come out stronger by dealing with it head on!"

Allen signedwith the Wildcats in November.
The senior was averaging 42.9 points and 14.2 points per game through 13 games.
