LEXINGTON, Ky (WYMT)- After finishing treatment Wednesday, Josh Paschal is having to adapt to some time off as the team manages his return.
"Of course I get upset," said Josh Paschal. "I love my brothers and love being out there playing football. That is what I love to do, so it is hard for me to take a step back because I want to be out there. That is a struggle."
Coach Mark Stoops said the linebacker has been forced to miss some reps and practices over the year and the staff wants to be careful he comes back correctly.
"He doesn't want to be out long. A few days prior to his final treatment I had to pull him out and send him to get a shower to cool off cause he wasn't feeling great. He doesn't ever want to come out but we have to make sure we do a good job at managing him."
