LOUISVILLE, Ky (WYMT)- Under Armour All-American and former Wildcat son, Russ Yeast returned to Louisville's Football team Monday, November 12 according to the Courier-Journal.
Yeast, son of Craig Yeast, signed with Louisville in 2016 and joined the team as a cornerback in 2017. In his freshman year, he played all 12 games recording 23 tackles.
The cornerback originally announced his decision to transfer from the program before the Cardinals' game against Syracuse.
The Courier-Journal says that the sophomore was back with the Cardinals for team meetings on Sunday and is expected to practice in preparation for Louisville's game against NC State.
Yeast did commit to the University of Kentucky before ultimately signing with the Cardinals.
