LEXINGTON, Ky. (WYMT) - Former Kentucky Wildcat Derek Willis will suit up in Germany for the second straight season.
Willis has signed with Ulm, a professional basketball team in Germany's Basketball Bundesliga, or BBL for short. The team announced his signing Monday.
The former Cat played for Goettingen last season, another team in the BBL, and delivered 12 points and five rebounds on average last season while shooting 42.5-percent from behind the three-point line.
Willis played in this year's NBA Summer League with the Phoenix Suns and tallied 6.7 points and three rebounds.
The contract is a two-year deal.
