STANTON, Ky. (WYMT) - Rivals Perry Central and Hazard met for the fourth time this season to see who would be the 14th Region's boys' representative for the Sweet 16.
It was the Commodores winning the rivalry game once again to punch their ticket to Rupp Arena, 53-48.
It's the third time this season that the Commodores have had a five-point margin of victory over Hazard (Dec. 11 -- 61-56, Feb. 22 -- 49-44). The other previous meeting was decided by two points.
The Commodores will meet the Butler Bears on Thursday, March 7 at noon inside Rupp Arena.
