Brooklyn Steele signs with EKU Cheerleading

HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT) - Brooklyn Steele had her signing day Friday afternoon to head to the college level to continue her cheerleading career.

She competed and won multiple times at the UCA National High School Cheerleading Championships.

She also holds a 3rd place finish in the state competition.

Steele says that she's always been interested in going to EKU.

"<"I have always kept my eye on eastern cheerleading," Steele said. "Their coach Beth Bruner has been recruiting me since my sophomore year, and when you go into their cheer room, it's like, the atmosphere is amazing and they are all family there. I'm really looking forward to it."
