Bell County scores 47 first-half points on their way to a big win over Floyd Central

HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT) - Ryan Lambdin scored 17 of the Bobcats 25 first quarter points, including five threes, as Bell County cruised to a 73-44 win over Floyd Central. The Bobcats put up 47 points in the first half.

Floyd Central battled all night with a number of young players on the floor. Coach Todd Howard said the Jaguars had five eighth graders on the floor at some points in the game, but the young Jaguars were able to gain valuable experience in the Mountain Classic.

With the win, Bell County moves to 1-3 on the year, while the Jaguars drop to 1-4.
