CINCINNATI, Ohio (WYMT) - Aristides Aquino added a couple of awards to his historic start in the MLB. The rookie brought home both National League Player of the Month, and National League Rookie of the Month.

Aquino set the record for most home runs in a month with 14, in addition to 33 RBI in the month. The record-breaking rookie also hit .320 in the month of August.

With the sweep of the awards, Aquino became just the fourth player to sweep both awards. The others on the list include Ryan Braun in 2007, Buster Posey in 2010, and Yasiel Puig in 2013, the man Aquino replaced after Puig was traded to Cleveland.

Aquino also became the second player to sweep the awards in his first month in the majors. Puig is the only other player to accomplish the feat.
