SEATTLE, Wa. – After sweeping through the 2019 NCAA Lexington Regional with wins over Toledo, and Virginia Tech, the No. 14 Kentucky softball team will set its sights on the NCAA Seattle Super Regional as it makes its way west to face the (3) Washington Huskies in a three-game series.

Game one will be on Friday night at 9 p.m. ET on ESPN2 with games two and three slated for 10 p.m. ET first pitches on ESPN2. Mark Neely (pxp), Danielle Lawrie (color) and Holly Rowe (dugouts) will have the call from Husky Softball Stadium in Seattle.

This marks the seventh NCAA Super Regional in program history for Kentucky, with all seven appearances coming under head coach Rachel Lawson. The Wildcats have advanced to three in a row, with all three of those appearances coming against PAC-12 teams (Oregon 2x, Washington).

Kentucky has made one Women's College World series appearance in program history, back in 2014.

UK and Washington played on Feb. 22 at the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic, with Washington winning 4-2 in a tightly-contested game.
