Kushaw Pie

Recipe courtesy of Benita McCoy Lyons, author of "Scratch Cooking."

Yields 2 pies

4 c. cooked kushaw
4 eggs
1c. brown sugar
1c. white sugar
2 tbsp. pumkin pie spice
1 can condensed milk

Mix together well & pour in unbaked pie shells
Bake at 350 degrees 40-50 minutes. Check pie with a toothpick
To make sure it is done in the center, if toothpick comes out clean pie is ready. Cool for 2 hours before slicing. *page 46 Scratch Cooking 2.
