Whitley County inmate found after escaping from work release

WHITLEY COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - In Whitley County, an inmate who escaped from work detail was found hiding under a trailer.

Whitley County Sheriff's Office says Jeremy Lynn was captured Thursday morning.

Lynn was part of a work-release crew picking up trash off Kentucky 1804 when he escaped on September 6th.

Deputies received a tip and went to the trailer. When they got there Lynn tried to hide in a crawl space.

Lynn was arrested and charged with second-degree escape.

Deputies also say Lynn's girlfriend, Jessica Lawson, is charged with hindering prosecution.
