Wednesday the 'Survivor: Island of the Idols' premieres on WYMT at 8 p.m.

The 90-minute special will feature the third Eastern Kentucky native to appear on the show in the last four seasons.

Elaine Stott is from the community of Woodbine in Whitley County. She has a rather unique approach to how she hopes to win.

"My strategy is to be everybody's sidekick and I know that sounds funny," said Elaine. "And I want someone to be my Ricky Bobby. I need to be Cal Naughton Jr. and win the damn thing in the end."

She follows Donathan Hurley, who made it to the final four three seasons ago, and Nick Wilson, who won 'Survivor' two seasons ago.

Survivor is coming back with another Whitley County native as one of the castaways! Survivor: “Island of the Idols” premieres Wednesday with a special 90-minute edition on WYMT.
