Weekend taste of summer: heat, humidity and daily rain chances
We've been feeling the heat and humidity today and unfortunately, it will continue through the weekend.
This afternoon a pop-up shower or storm cannot be ruled out. Otherwise, most of us will have a dry but muggy evening. Evening temperatures will be in the 70s before dropping into the mid-60s overnight. Overnight we will be dry under mostly clear skies.
Dreaming of summer? Well, here is a summer-like forecast here to stay for the weekend. Hot, humid and daily rain chances. The good news is neither day will be a total washout. Only a few pop-up showers and storms are possible in the afternoon. Sunday holds a better rain chance, but it is still isolated. Highs will remain in the mid-80s with overnight lows in the mid-60s.
It will be a great weekend to get outside, but make sure to wear sunscreen and drink plenty of water!
The daily rain chances will continue into the new work week.
Right now, next week looks like a typical summertime pattern with temperatures in the mid to upper 80s, high humidity, and pop-up showers and storms. Tuesday looks like the driest day with only a stray chance possible. However, that's compared to isolated chances the other days.
