(WYMT) - Warmer temperatures return for the weekend but a cold front moves in by the new workweek, hopefully cooling us off a little bit.

This weekend looks a little steamy with highs in the mid to upper 80s. Overnight lows look to be a little bit cooler with temperatures in the low to mid-60s.
We are looking at great weather for the Black Gold Festival this weekend! We'll be out doing Guest Weather on Saturday as well!
Sunday will start off sunny but clouds will increase throughout the day. We could see a stray chance Sunday night towards midnight, but most of those rain chances look to arrive early Monday. A cold front will be approaching the mountains. Rain will start first to the northwest, so you folks have a better chance of seeing rain Sunday night. As of now, it looks like the bulk of the rain will be overnight or early Monday.
Temperatures do look slightly cooler compared to the past week but they will still be above average.
Stray rain chances look to continue into the new work week. The best chance for rain looks to be Monday as a cold front moves through. Hopefully, we can get some much needed rain!
Highs for the week look to remain in the low to mid-80s with overnight lows in the upper 50s to lower 60s. A few stray rain chances could return by the end of the workweek. Overall, it looks like the drier trend continues into next week as well.
