SWARTZ CREEK, MI As the polar vortex brings bitterly cold temperatures and wind chills across the county, school officials everywhere came up with clever "snow day songs" to tell students and their parents that school was canceled.
In Michigan, Swartz Creek Community Schools Superintendent Ben Mainka and high school principal Jim Kitchen made national headlines when they posted a snow day rendition of "Hallelujah" that blew everyone away Tuesday.
Wednesday, the two school officials were back with an encore - this time coming up with a clever parody of "Let It Go" from the Disney movie "Frozen".
The two men even got a shout out from Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer.
