Sister station WKYT reports the football team wanted to make sure the patients could get in on the fun for homecoming week.

Former Wildcat Courtney Love and current Wildcats Sawyer Smith and Luke Fortner visited the hospital bringing gifts and games for the children.

"We just wanted to bring some joy to some kids that are here in the hospital who maybe are going through a tough time, maybe are really worried about what's happening to them, maybe get their mind off of today so that's what we're trying to do here," said Fortner.

The visit is part of a program originally called Tuesday's with CJ. Former Wildcat CJ Conrad started the visits.
