CORBIN, Ky. (WYMT) - Two teens are behind bars after police said the pair led police on a motorcycle chase in Corbin Tuesday.

Laurel County Sheriff's Deputies were on the lookout for a blue Harley Davidson motorcycle after the owner reported it stolen.

Police believe the motorcycle was hot-wired from a business parking lot off Gordon Hill.

When deputies saw the vehicle on Hwy. 312, nine miles south of London, they attempted to stop the motorcycle.

The driver of the motorcycle refused to stop and led police on a seven-mile chase.

The sheriff's office said during the chase, the driver passed cars on hilltops and blind curves.

A passenger on the motorcycle, later identified as Dalton L. Reid-Comer, 18, of Avawam, allegedly urged the driver to speed up.

At one point during the chase, the driver allowed Reid-Colmer to hop off the motorcycle, but he was quickly captured by deputies, the sheriff's office said.

The driver was also arrested.

Police charged Reid-Colmer with receiving stolen property less than $10,000, first-degree fleeing or evading police on a motor vehicle, theft of unlawful taking more than $500 but less than $10,000.

Police say the driver of the motorcycle was a juvenile from Hyden. They have not released his name.

The sheriff's office did say he was charged with receiving stolen property less than $10,000, first-degree fleeing or evading police on a motor vehicle, reckless driving, first-degree wanton endangerment of a police officer and theft by unlawful taking more than $500 but less than $10,000.

The juvenile driver was taken to the Breathitt County Juvenile Detention Facility.

Reid-Colmer was taken to the Whitley County Detention Center.
