(WYMT) - High pressure will continue to dominate the region tonight and into tomorrow! Scattered rain chances return quickly though as a system moves into the mountains.
Tonight and Tomorrow
Mostly clear skies will continue into tonight with overnight lows into the mid-50s. Those mostly clear skies will continue into Tuesday with plenty of sunshine throughout your Tuesday! Highs will be in the upper 70s to lower 80s!
A system will be approaching the mountains Tuesday which will bring scattered rain chances into the region late Tuesday evening. Overnight lows will be in the mid to upper 70s.
Wednesday and Thursday
We continue to see those partly cloudy skies for your Wednesday with scattered rain chances throughout the day as that system works its way into the mountains. Highs will be in the lower 70s with overnight lows in the mid-50s.
It looks like the best chance for rain will be Thursday with highs in the lower 70s and lows in the mid-50s.
Those rain chances continue into your Friday but become more scattered. It looks like we clear out by the afternoon and evening hours. Highs will top out near 70 with overnight lows in the upper 40s to lower 50s.
Right now it looks like we remain dry for the first half of your weekend with scattered chances for Sunday. The good news is we continue to see highs in the 70s.
