(WYMT) - Good morning! The days are finally feeling like fall here in the mountains.
Today and Tonight
A few people may notice some patchy frost this morning! There may also be some fog out there in the early morning hours, so be careful on your Monday morning drive!
Monday looks like a quiet fall day, with lots of sunshine that should warm us back up toward the 70-degree mark after the chilly start. Tonight lows will be a touch warmer into the mid 40s.
Tuesday looks fairly nice, but a few more clouds than the day prior. Highs will be in the mid 70s. The southern counties could see a stray rain shower in the late afternoon and evening hours.
Towards midnight going into Wednesday, rain chances will ramp up thanks to an approaching cold front. We are still working on the details of the timing of the front, but the best rain chance looks to be overnight Tuesday into Wednesday.
On Wednesday we will reach our high at midnight and temperatures will drop throughout the day. Afternoon temperatures will be in the 50s. As the skies clear Wednesday night, we'll drop back into the mid-30s.
After that, temps are cool on Thursday and Friday, but get right back into the low 70s under sunny skies for the weekend.
