Summertime pattern sets up, hot temperatures

By  |

(WYMT) - Those summertime conditions continue this evening with plenty of sunshine and warm temperatures! Overnight lows will cool down into the mid to upper 60s with mostly clear skies and some patchy fog.

Thursday and Friday
Temperatures will continue to rise as we head into the end of the work week.

Highs for Thursday and Friday look to be in the upper 80s to lower 90s with plenty of sunshine. We'll add in a stray shower for your Friday, but overall we look to remain dry. Overnight lows start to warm up as well with temperatures in the upper 60s to lower 70s.

The Weekend
We are finally looking at a drier weekend! We have a stray chance for a shower or two on Saturday with about a 20% Sunday, but overall we will remain dry. Highs will be in the upper 80s to lower 90s with overnight lows in the upper 60s to lower 70s.

I know everyone is excited to spend the weekend outdoors but remember to drink plenty of water if you are spending a lot of time outside and to wear sunscreen!

Extended Forecast
The sunny and hot conditions continue into the new work week as well.

We'll hang onto a small chance for a pop-up shower or two as we head into the new work week as well, but for now, we are not looking at any widespread rain chances.

Those highs look to remain in the upper 80s to lower 90s as well.

Enjoy the drier weather and stay cool!
