Summer like pattern underway, some rain chances possible
I hope you're ready for heat and humidity, because ready or not, it's here.
We ended up with a few showers and storms overnight thanks to an outflow boundary from that front that's hanging out to our north. Some scattered chances, along with some fog, will be around early this morning as most locations start out near 60.
The afternoon will feature mainly sunny skies and temperatures that will quickly soar into the mid-80s. It'll definitely feel like that too with the humidity.
Tonight, look for mostly clear skies with lows in the mid-60s.
Those daily rain chances continue this weekend but the good news is neither day will be a total washout. Only a few pop-up showers and storms. Highs will remain in the mid-80s with overnight lows in the mid-60s.
It will be a great weekend to get outside, but make sure to wear sunscreen and drink plenty of water!
The daily rain chances will continue into the new work week.
Right now, next week looks like a typical summertime pattern with temperatures in the mid to upper 80s, high humidity, and pop-up showers and storms.
