(WYMT) - Temperatures remain on the cooler side this weekend!
Sugar Camp Mountain // Allen Bolling
We will continue to see plenty of sunshine this evening.
The weather looks great for some Friday night football as well. We will continue to see those partly cloudy skies later tonight and we will also bring back stray rain chances. Those rain chances look to return around 10-11 p.m. so football fans should not worry too much. Overnight lows look to drop into the low to mid-60s.
Those stray rain chances could linger into the early morning hours on Saturday. Most of those should move out by the later morning hours.
This will not ruin this perfect weekend forecast at all. Highs for both days will be in the upper 70s to lower 80s with overnight lows in the upper 50s to lower 60s. Looks like we could see a few more clouds on Saturday with mostly sunny skies on Sunday.
If you are heading out to the UK game, it will be perfect tailgating weather! It could get a little bit chilly once the sun goes down, so packing a light sweater will not be a bad idea!
Enjoy the weekend while you can because hot temperatures return back to the mountains.
Highs for the new workweek look to be back in the mid to upper 80s. Maybe even close to 90 on some days. Mostly sunny skies continue into the first half of the workweek as well with isolated rain chances returning by the end of the workweek.
Hurricane Dorian is now a category 1 hurricane and is finally moving away from the east coast!
