(WYMT) - It has been another beautiful day here in the mountains. Unfortunately, a pattern change is on the way.

Partly cloudy skies will continue into the evening hours. Clouds will start to increase throughout the overnight hours with temperatures dropping into the upper 60s. Folks near I-64 could catch a stray shower or storm after dinnertime and through the early morning hours.
Clouds increase Saturday night due to the system moving in on Sunday. Isolated rain chances are there for your Father's Day morning, but these will be hit or miss. Scattered showers and storms return by Sunday afternoon/evening. Once again, these will be hit or miss. Right now the first half of your Father's Day is looking okay so if you want to get out early and play golf or go fishing the morning hours would be the best time. A few of those storms Sunday afternoon could be on the strong side at times.
Sadly the new week is not looking the best.
We increase those rain chances going into your Monday and continue those throughout the entire work week. Highs remain in the upper 70s to lower 80s throughout the week with overnight lows in the mid to upper 60s.
Overall just keep your rain gear handy throughout the week along with the WYMT Weather App.
