HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT)- It's certainly feeling hot across the mountains on this Saturday, and the heat won't back off for at least a few more days.
Expect mostly clear skies and mild temperatures. Lows will drop into the upper 60s. Watch for a little patchy dense to form in the morning.
Sunday Through Tuesday
The next few days will see almost textbook dog days of summer style weather. Expect mostly sunny skies, highs in the lower 90s, and just the ever so slightest chance of an afternoon shower. Lows will be around the 70 mark, and humidity is going to be on the high side. Expect patchy dense fog on the morning commute the next few mornings.
The typical late summer pattern breaks a bit on Wednesday as a cool front enters the region. This is going to increase rain chances on Wednesday and Thursday and knock temperatures back down a few degrees on the highs and lows. We will end the week with a daily shot of afternoon showers on Friday and Saturday. Highs during the period will generally be in the mid 80s with lows in the mid to upper 60s.
