Some Logan County schools placed on temporary lockdown

LOGAN COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) – Schools in the Man area were on a temporary lockdown Monday afternoon due to a man involved in a domestic situation, Logan County Sheriff’s deputies say.

Those schools included Man High School and South Man Elementary.

Deputies say the man was armed with a knife. At last check, he had not been located.

The man was identified to deputies as Kit Rozelle.

The Logan County Schools superintendent said the schools were put on lockdown as a precaution.

The Man Police Department handled the investigation and was assisted by the Logan County Sheriff’s Department.
