Soggy weather returns just in time for the weekend!

We will continue to see those mostly cloudy skies tonight with temperatures dropping into the upper 30s to lower 40s. Friday night football fans, bundle up if you are heading out to some games tonight.

Rain chances will move back into the mountains very late tonight into the early morning hours on Saturday.

The Weekend

The soggy weather continues throughout the entire weekend, especially for your Saturday. If you are heading out to that UK game Saturday, make sure to bundle up and have that rain gear with you. Highs will be in the low to mid-50s with overnight lows really only dropping into the upper 40s to near 50.

Rain chances will become more scattered Sunday with highs in the mid to upper 50s. Temperatures will drop throughout the day making overnight lows in the low to mid-30s. Moisture will stick around Sunday night and with temperatures dropping we could see a wintry mix late Sunday night into early Monday morning. This system will really dependent on temperatures. This is something we will monitor closely throughout the weekend.

Extended Forecast

That rain/snow mix could continue into your Monday. Highs look to only reach the mid to upper 30s with overnight lows in the upper 20s.

After this system, sunshine returns back to the mountains with drier conditions. Highs for the week look to be in the 40s with the 50s returning by the end of the week.
