Soggy start to Wednesday, cooler temperatures ahead
Good morning! Don't forget rain gear as you head out this morning.
We're starting the day off on a soggy note with widespread showers. Those showers will continue through the early afternoon hours, but will become more spotty as the morning goes on. We already reached our high temperature at midnight around 60, and temperatures this afternoon will be in the 50s.
Once the rain moves out, we will still be left with a bit of cloud cover, so sunshine will be scarce this afternoon.
Tonight as cold air rushes in, lows will be getting down into the upper 30s.
Sunshine will return by the end of the workweek!
We'll see a mixture of sun and clouds Thursday with highs only reaching the mid 50s and overnight lows in the upper 30s to lower 40s.
Mostly sunny skies return Friday with highs in the mid to upper 60s with lows in the low to mid-40s. Friday night may be a bit cold for football, just throw on the warm jacket ans you will be good to go!
70s return by the weekend with plenty of sunshine both days! It looks like we could be tracking another cold front later Sunday night into the new workweek.
