Soggy overnight, possible wintry end to the weekend
Rain continues to pour down on the mountains. A Flash Flood Advisory is in effect for some until 4 a.m. Sunday.
Tonight the rain continues to fall. It will be just about as soggy as the day was. Temperatures won't change much due to this, getting into the low 50s overnight. Be very careful if you have to be on the roads. Not only will there be puddling, visibility will be low.
Rain chances will become less widespread Sunday with highs in the mid to upper 50s. Rain should take a break by mid morning. Temperatures will drop throughout the day making overnight lows in the low to mid-30s. Temperatures will play an important role in Sunday night's forecast. Moisture will pick back up Sunday night and with temperatures dropping we could see a wintry mix late Sunday night into early Monday morning. Again, temperatures will make or break these chances. We are still watching it closely. It will come down to the wire. Half a degree could change everything.
That rain/snow mix could continue into your Monday. Highs look to only reach the mid to upper 30s with overnight lows in the upper 20s.
After this system, sunshine returns back to the mountains with drier conditions. There is a small chance moisture will linger into Tuesday, but we will see. Highs for the week look to be in the 40s with the 50s returning by the end of the week.
