Soggy conditions return Wednesday as remnants of Hurricane Barry arrive
Enjoy the mostly dry conditions this afternoon because rain chances will increase as we head into your Wednesday!
We will continue to see partly cloudy skies this evening and into the overnight hours. We could see a few scattered rain chances as well, but I think most of us will stay dry with temperatures staying warm tonight into the lower 70s.
Those rain chances really increase as the remnants of once Hurricane Barry will move into the region on Wednesday. Rain chances and cloud cover will continue to increase throughout the day. It'll be mostly a soggy day so keep the rain gear with you! Rain chances look to become more scattered by the later evening hours. Highs will top out into the lower 80s with overnight lows near 70.
Clouds will start to break Thursday but we'll hang onto a few scattered rain chances throughout the day. Highs will increase back in the upper 80s with lows in the lower 70s.
We look to dry out a little bit for your Friday and Saturday with very hot conditions. Highs for both days will be in the upper 80s to lower 90s. Those overnight lows will stay in the lower 70s as well. Because it will be so hot and humid we could see a stray chance for a shower or two Friday and Saturday.
By Sunday and into the new work week we could be looking at a cold front moving into the mountains. The bad news is it'll bring us more rain, but the good news is we could cool off by the new work week as well.
We'll continue to keep an eye on it!
