HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT) - Our Good Friday forecast is not looking too good, with rain chances back and forth all day long.
Today and Tomorrow
Temps were as warm as they were going to get today at midnight. They will slowly drop all the way until morning when we get into the low 40s.
The rain chances will be around all day and all night, with breaks in the action at times.
Those rain chances continue this weekend as the front continues its slow trek to the east. Highs on Saturday will be chilly, only getting into the mid to upper 40s for most. The rain will finally start to move out Saturday night with skies starting to clear gradually. Lows will drop to around 40.
The sunshine returns just in time for Easter Sunday, with temps back close to 70 for daytime highs. It should be a nice and dry day for all of your outdoor plans and activities. Lows will drop into the low 50s overnight.
Sunshine and warmer temperatures continue into the first couple of days of the new work week.
Highs on Monday and Tuesday look to be back into the upper 70s to lower 80s. A stray chance for a shower or two is possible on Tuesday, but it looks like we remain mostly dry.
Some models bring in scattered rain chances Wednesday and Thursday. We'll continue to monitor that.
