PIKE COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - Earlier this month, four people were charged with trying to smuggle drugs into the Pike County Detention Center.

Video surveillance footage showed two women, with three small children in tow, attempting to smuggle drugs into the jail through a hole dug by two inmates.

Since then those four, along with two others, have been indicted in the case. Randa Hamilton, Jordan Conn, Scottie Gibson, Shayla Stevens, Jeffrey Kimmel, and Tyler Thacker appeared in court Monday for arraignment.

Each pleaded not guilty to charges of engaging in organized crime, promoting contraband, and criminal mischief. A pretrial hearing is set for January 25th at 11 a.m.
