Elderly Mingo County man found safe

MINGO COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ)-- Dec. 5 Update

An elderly man reported missing early Wednesday morning has been found, West Virginia State Police say.

Harold Noe, 83, became disoriented and got his car stuck on a muddy road, troopers say. They say he's cold but otherwise OK.

A Silver Alert had been issued for Noe earlier Wednesday.

A silver alert has been issued for a missing Mingo County man, believed to have dementia.

Harold Noe, 83, was last seen about 6:30 Tuesday evening in the Justice area of Mingo County.

Noe was driving a 2017 black Honda Civic.

He was wearing a black leather jacket, blue jeans and black boots, and could have made it a significant distance from where he was last seen in Mingo County.
