LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - Deputies arrested a woman after she allegedly caused a disturbance at two local businesses Monday night.

The Laurel County Sheriff's Office responded to a call about an intoxicated woman with a holstered pistol inside a business. When deputies arrived the woman was already gone, but another call led them to a second store off the West Cumberland Gap Parkway.

Deputies found Jody Beth Walker kicking and screaming at an ATM. They said she also danced throughout the store.

Walker then allegedly told deputies that "meth was the manufacturer of her Adderall." She was also carrying a .357 pistol.

Walker, 37, was charged with public intoxication. When deputies took her to the Laurel County Detention Center, they found two baggies of a crystal-like substance in her possession. They then charged Walker with first-degree promotion of contraband.
