Sheriff: Police find more than $1,500 in drugs this holiday weekend

LESLIE, Ky. (WYMT) - During the holiday weekend, Leslie County sheriff's deputies arrested six people in several meth-related cases.

The most notable case involving 37-year-old Dustin Bowling and 40-year-old Justin Centers.

Deputies stopped Bowling because of careless driving on December 1st.

When searching the vehicle, deputies found what is believed to be meth, pills and scales. The street value of the drugs was around $1,500.

Bowling now faces charges for drug possession and trafficking charges. Centers was arrested on a bench warrant.
